The Inside Bet betting system is, as the name suggests, a betting system that involves betting on the actual numbers on the roulette table, as opposed to the outside bets, which tend to be red/black, odd/even, Dozens, Columns, etc. In the game of roulette, there are two main groups of bets – Outside Bets and Inside Bets. The names are derived from the bet positions on the layout of the table. Outside bets have higher chances of winning, but much smaller payouts. Inside bets, on the other hand, have less probability of winning, but considerably bigger payouts.
Inside Bets in roulette- they sound like a bit like “Insider Bets” don´t they, where you have some kind of angle on the result? Well, the “inside” refers to the area on a roulette table where you´d place your chips (or where you drag your chips online).
There are 3 basic groupings of bets in roulette. Outside Bets, Call Bets and Inside Bets which are bets like a wager on an individual straight up number, or a corner bet. You place your chips in the inside of the betting area, either on the numbers or lines separating the numbers.

Inside roulette bets are made in the central area of the betting area on a roulette table. They include:
- Straight-Up
A bet on an individual number that pays out 35:1. Called “en plein” on a French table. - Corner Bet
A 4 number bet on the intersecting cross in the middle of the numbers. Pays out 8:10 - Five Number Bet
A bet on 0,00,1,2 and 3 on an American wheel. The self styled “worst bet in town”. Avoid. - Six Line Bet
A bet on 2 lines of 3 numbers- half a dozen in total. 5-1 pay off if your numbers come in. - Split Bet
A bet across 2 numbers that pays out at 17:1 - Street Bet
There are 12 streets of 3 numbers ona roulette table. Place your chip at the end for a 11:1 pay out.

D’Alembert Betting System: Created by French mathematician Jean-Baptise le Rond d’Alembert, this is also known as the Pyramid betting system. This is a fun betting system, although is based purely on Gambler’s Fallacy.
Dopey Betting System: This system was made famous due to the book by Andres Martinez, where he provided detail about the Dopey Betting System, an experimental roulette betting system.
Double Street Quad Strategy: This is a very interesting strategy which involves a betting pattern on two double streets, along with a quad or corner.
Don’t Bet The Top Line: This strategy in roulette involves not betting the top line and dives into that.
Dozen Based Triple Martingale Betting System: Like many betting systems for Roulette, it’s the Martingale with a twist. It focuses on the “dozen” bets that you can make, and the progressions in betting you make are higher. Triple your initial stake.
Fibonacci Betting System: Taken from the Fibonacci Sequence from back in the 13th century, the Fibonacci Betting System is a very simple progressive betting to use, based on increments of the 2 prior numbers you bet with.
